Global energy storage leader HyperStrong has officially established its Asia Pacific (APAC) headquarters in Sydney, marking a strategic entry into the Australian market alongside a key partnership with local company Tesseract ESS.

HyperStrong‘s APAC office, located in Sydney’s northern business district, was inaugurated on October 21 and will serve as a central hub for HyperStrong’s business development, engineering support, and customer service across the region.

The new headquarters signals HyperStrong’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the Asia Pacific, with a focus on developing innovative energy storage systems tailored for the region’s unique needs.

HyperStrong’s first Australian partnership, forged with Tesseract ESS—a solar and energy storage-as-a-service provider for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients—highlights its intent to meet Australia’s demand for affordable and clean energy solutions. The partnership was announced during the All Energy Australia Exhibition in Melbourne and centers around HyperStrong’s Unity Node, a modular, all-in-one energy storage system that combines top-tier battery technology with a suite of advanced management and safety features. This solution will be offered as part of Tesseract ESS’s energy plan for Australian businesses.

The new Sydney office is expected to enhance HyperStrong’s operational capabilities, facilitating further cooperation agreements and procurement orders with Australian companies. HyperStrong has already signed memorandums of understanding with several local clients and plans to deepen these collaborations in the near future.

Kevin Changbin Qiu, HyperStrong’s Chief Marketing Officer and APAC Business Leader, expressed the company’s ambitions: “Our partnership with Tesseract ESS marks a symbolic entry into the Australian market. HyperStrong is committed to helping C&I customers achieve their ambitions to access affordable and clean energy.” He emphasized that the company aims to build a sustainable energy storage ecosystem in Australia, delivering advanced, safe, and reliable solutions to foster growth.

At the exhibition, HyperStrong also showcased products such as the HyperBlock III for large-scale applications, the HyperCube II for C&I customers, and the HyperCube Pro for EV charging. Dr. Guang Yang, HyperStrong’s Chief Technology Officer, delivered a keynote on the role of data analytics and AI in optimizing energy storage systems, underscoring the company’s commitment to maximizing value for customers.

With its strategic APAC headquarters and new partnership, HyperStrong is poised to play a pivotal role in Australia’s clean energy future, addressing the country’s growing demand for sustainable and efficient energy storage solutions.
